The Greek Beer Awards announced during the 2026 Event Night that the competition is now officially endorsed by the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU).
The announcement was presented to the audience through a video message from André Brunnsberg Chairman of the EBCU, highlighting the importance of independent beer competitions that support quality, beer culture, and consumer awareness across Europe.
For the organizers, the endorsement marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of the Greek Beer Awards as an internationally oriented competition connecting beer communities across Europe.
Since 2017, the Greek Beer Awards, organized by BeerBartender, aim to promote brewing excellence, responsible beer culture, and international collaboration within the beer industry.
Nicola Radisis, Director of the Greek Beer Awards, stated that the EBCU endorsement reinforces the work carried out over the past nine years and further raises the standards and ambitions of the competition.
