ITALY
Journalist and author. Responsible for the Italian magazine “Il Barman”. Judge and table leader in various international competitions for beers and spirits, such as the Brussels Beer Challenge and World Beer Awards. Author of beer and bar books. His latest book “La Grammatica della Birra” was published last year in Italy. Member of the Greek Beer Awards judges in 2018, 2021 and Technical Director since 2023.
Judith Boyle

Judith Boyle is a lecturer in beverages at the Technological University of Dublin. She is an accredited Beer Sommelier, an award-winning member of the Guild of Beer Writers and an international beer & spirits judge. Judith works as a drink consultant and presents drinks on television and radio and holds beverage workshops, tastings and masterclasses throughout Ireland and at international industry events such as Imbibe Live (UK). Member of the Greek Beer Awards judges in 2024.

Francesca has been a beer taster and tutor since early 2000. She is a beer-writer mostly on the specialized blog Pintamedicea.com, and an international judge with more than fifteen years of experience: World Beer Cup, World Beer Awards, Birra dell’Anno, Barcelona Beer Challenge, and many more.

Born and living in Bamberg, Germany. Journalist and Photographer. Studied German Language and History, started his company in 1997. Founder of the German Beer Academy, host Podcast BierTalk, author of over 60 Books, Beer Educator, International Beer Judge all over the World, speaker, Beer Sommelier, Cheese Sommelier, Spirit Sommelier. President of the German Beer Consumers Union, President of the Bavarian Spirit Sommeliers Association, Board Member of the Franconian Breweries Association. Member of the Greek Beer Awards judges in 2021.
Christine Cryne

Christine loves educating people about beer, whether through tutored beer tastings or training, which covers both enthusiasts and the trade. Her tutored tastings include venues as diverse as the Tower of London, BBC Good Food Show, and Danske’s Copenhagen Beer Festival. She is a Master Trainer and an accredited European Beer Consumers Union beer judge, judging at a variety of competitions such as for SIBA, World Beer Cup, International Beer Challenge and CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain Awards . She is a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and writes on beer and brewing for London Drinker Magazine.
Marjan Kostadinovski

Marjan is from 2005 the owner of the first beer shop in Skopje which focuses on craft beers, and homebrewing. From 2015 he has a collaboration with Slow Food. He organizes many tasting events. He has judged in many international beer competitions and participated in homebrewing competitions in Sofia and Croatia, and in homebrewing festival in Warsaw. Marjan judges for the first time at the Greek Beer Awards.
André Brunnsberg

André Brunnsberg is a passionate beer judge, writer, and homebrewing advocate. Chairman of the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU) since 2022, he has judged at major competitions across Europe, both commercial and homebrewing. A BJCP-certified judge since 2019, he writes about beer in Finnish media, trains beer judges, and consults breweries on recipe development. Honored as a Knight of the Belgian Brewers’ Paddle in 2022, he is dedicated to promoting beer culture and quality.
Tetiana Volynska

Brewmaster with professional education 6 years and brewing experience more than 10 years. Judging in beer competition in Czech Republic and Ukraine from 2017. She lives and works in Cyprus. It is her first time as a jury member of the Greek Beer Awards.
Dennis Kort
Judge
THE NETHERLANDS
Dennis is a German Purity Law brewer from The Netherlands. He has been active in the beer scene for over 15 years now and was 2023/2024 Dutch national Doemens Beersommelier champion. His expertise and passion for beer resulted in many positions in the beerworld. Next to OLDSKOOL, he brews for other brands in the Netherlands. He is the longstanding head of service at the Brussels Beer Challenge. He hosts a Dutch taste podcast called Boerenkool met Champagne. Works as a Maître D’ on many cruise ships. And is co-partner of a famous 1000+ beerbar in Eindhoven, called Drinkers Pub. It is his first participation at the jury of the Greek Beer Awards.
John Cryne

ENGLAND
John is a member of the industry for many decades. He was the longest serving National Chairman of CAMRA, currently running a Trade Association of London’s Breweries, the London Brewers Alliance. He is an experienced beer judge as he participated at CAMRA, SIBA and Austria Beer Challenge.
