The “2025 season” has started, on the 31st July. Greek Beer Awards 2025 registration has opened and the 1st Early Bird period is already running. Brewers can benefit from the discount (-15%, till 30/09/2024).
New countries
The Greek Beer Awards expanded to more countries, Andorra, San Marino, and the famous for its beer tradition Czechia have been added to the countries where their breweries can participate.
Updated guidelines and new Beer Categories
New guidelines for the brewers are available, with some of the existing beer categories have been modified, while more have been added. New categories include: International Pilsner, Flavored Lager, Smoked Lager, Tropical Lager, Bock, Sahti Style and Gluten-Free among others. We have added a note to distinguish the modified and new categories on the page as well as on the “Manual Competition” that is available to all who are interested.

Judging Process
Maurizio Maestrelli will lead the judging process for the third year, as a Head Judge. Responsible for the judging panel and the process, which will be modified as well. Judges’ Experiences are planned for GBA2025. More details about the visits and the tasting venue will be soon available.
