Greek Beer Awards will close on the 21st of February.
The Greek Beer Awards proudly continue to celebrate the craftsmanship of Italian breweries, reinforcing the strong bond between the Italian and Greek beer communities. This competition provides a unique opportunity for Italian brewers to join forces, showcase their exceptional beers on an international platform, and strengthen their presence in the European beer scene.
Italian breweries are encouraged to submit their entries by February 21, 2025. The competition features a diverse range of categories, including Grape Ale among the 50 beer styles. A comprehensive list of categories is available on our Beer Categories page.
Entries will be evaluated through a rigorous blind-tasting process by a panel of esteemed judges. The judging panel comprises experienced professionals from Europe, ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment of each beer. Among the jury members are Markus Raupach, Christine Cryne, Judith Boyle, Matthias Kopp, and Francesa Morbidelli.
Leading the judging process is Technical Director Maurizio Maestrelli, author of “La grammatica della birra” with extensive experience in international beer competitions. His leadership brings a valuable perspective and expertise to the evaluation process.
Last year, Viola Bianca Blanche from Birra Arduini became the first Italian beer to receive an award at the Greek Beer Awards. Already distributed in Greece, this recognition has paved the way for more Italian breweries to follow suit and expand their reach.
