Greek Beer Awards

Greek Beer Awards 2023 under the auspices of

It is a great honor and privilege that the Greek Beer Awards for 2023 are organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism, the German Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Athens.

The Hellenic Ministry of Tourism announced some days ago the joint initiative with the Hellenic Association of Brewers, which opens the breweries’ doors to the public, connecting Greek beer production with hospitality, through an organized institutional framework. The Hellenic Association of Brewers is a member of the Brewers of Europe.

The German Hellenic Chamber of Industry supporting the event, which is organized since 2017, created a fantastic microsite dedicated to the Greek Beer Awards on their website. We need to mention that Tibor Kantor from Germany was also among the judges.

The Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Athens is supporting the event as it invited two Italians to join the judging committee, Maurizio Maestrelli as Head Judge and Giorgio Marconi as a judge. Furthermore, the Greek Beer Awards made the first expansion to Mediterranean countries this year, with Italy being included in the next and final expansion next year. The Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Athens is organizing a lot of business meetings in Athens, with alcoholic producers that would like to enter the Greek market, among them are also a few breweries.

Greek Beer Awards are very happy and proud of this support!
